InDesign Tools

The first thing I done when I setup the measurements of my basic working page InDesign was insert all my pictures. To do this I went File > Place and then chose the images I want inserted into my double page spread. When adjusting the size of an image i had to highlight it and hold down 'cmd' on the keyboard then click and drag the corner of the image. Just next to my double page spread is the list of tools that I might need to use. I used the gradient swatch tool in order to create my different boxes and used the fill tool to choose my colour. I used the type tool to create my font and when I wanted to move an image or text box i made sure the selection tool was highlighted otherwise it wouldn't of worked properly.
